3. Service Description
Legacy Connect Home Care, Inc. provides non-medical home care services and relevant notifications through SMS/MMS text messaging. For clients, messages may include service updates, appointment reminders, or important care-related notifications. For employees, messages may include work schedules, reminders, assignments, shift changes, and important employment-related communications.
4. Message Frequency
The frequency of messages depends on your relationship with Legacy Connect Home Care, Inc. Clients can expect to receive messages related to their care, while employees will receive messages based on their work schedule and employment status. Employees may receive up to 10 messages per week.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for more information on any applicable fees.
6. Opt-Out
Clients and employees may opt-out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with “STOP” to any message. After opting out, you will not receive further messages unless you re- enroll. However, employees who opt-out may miss critical job-related communications, which could affect their employment or job performance.
7. Privacy
Your personal information, including your phone number and any other information collected during the use of this Service, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below).
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. If changes are made, we will notify you via text message or email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Disclaimers
Legacy Connect Home Care, Inc. makes no warranty that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your network operator.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Connect Home Care, Inc. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, whether you are an employee or a client.
11. Employment Relationship
Employees acknowledge that this Service is used to facilitate employment-related communications, such as scheduling and job assignments. Failure to receive or respond to text messages in a timely manner may affect your employment standing.
